“Would you like to network now?”

😠 STRANGER: (professional, stressed, direct)

I would not like it anyhow.

I would not like it here or there.

I would not like it anywhere.

... Fireball doesn’t let a little objection -  or even a lot of rejection -  stop her.

❤️‍🔥 FIREBALL:

“Would you like to talk to me?”

... Stranger is adamant and annoyed, yet polite. Note the word please, repeated.

😩 STRANGER:

I would not like it, let me be.

Not in a plane.

Not on the train.

Networking sucks.

You’re such a pain.

Can’t you see I want you gone.

That’s why I put my headphones on.

Please go far away from me

Please go away, just let me be.

... Fireball tries a new tactic.

Networking isn’t your cup of tea

You do not like it, you said to me.

But it will help you to succeed

Make new friends, achieve your dreams.

Try it try it - it will pay

Try it  - and then I’ll go away.
