Life Lessons from Cats.

Cats don’t hesitate to ask for what they want; so why do we?

This sweet little cat, aka “Fireball Furball”, knew exactly what she wanted, and how to get it. She stuck her tiny head into my hand, clearly asking for ear scratches and a chin rub. I was happy to serve. and granted her request. 😻

She enjoyed it so much, she decided that my hand would be a lovely place to rest her adorable head, and take a long catnap. I enjoyed her company too, and happily supported her - both figuratively and literally.

Fireball Furball catnapped for an hour, then decided she’d had enough. She blinked, stretched, and went back to her business … supervising the construction crew who were working on the rooftop below her window.

We can learn a lot from cats.

Shy, or hesitant? Ask anyhow.

2️⃣ Show and Tell.

Communicate clearly, and specifically, when asking for what you want. This confident cat showed me exactly what she wanted. She also showed me when she didn’t want it anymore. I didn’t have to guess.
